Space Port Area Conference for Educators (SPACE) aims to serve teachers from across the nation by providing professional development opportunities, and high-quality STEM instructional resources. Attending educators spend three days at The Center for Space Education developing curriculum and forming relationships. Educators will be given a once in a lifetime opportunity to be immersed in the operations of Kennedy Space Center - including keynote sessions with astronauts, launch directors, and other space icons, as well as behind the scenes tours of Space Port Operations.
Presenting at the Space Port Area Conference for Educators is an experience of a lifetime - this year, with exclusive perks for our presenters (see below)! At SPACE 2025, you have the opportunity to share what you're doing each day in your classroom with educators from across the globe. Presentations are due no later than January 20th at 11:59PM PST.
PRESENTER PERKS
🚀 EARLY ACCESS TO THE KSC VISITOR COMPLEX
Presenters will have early access to the Center for Space Education to drop off their materials for the conference. There will be a designated area for your materials for the week. This also allows you early access to the KSC Visitor Complex, should you wish to visit the exhibits early.
🚀 ADDITIONAL ACCESS TO THE KSC VISITOR COMPLEX
Presenters are given early access to the Center for Space Education and an additional full day at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. This year, our team is offering our presenters three (3) extra tickets to the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex for all three days of SPACE 2025! This means, as a presenter you can extend access to the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, compliments of our team, to family, friends, and/or colleagues that attend the trip with you. These folks will not be able to attend the conference itself, however they are welcome to enjoy the trip with you and see what KSC has to offer.
🚀 PRIORITY SEATING TO VIEW KEYNOTE AND GALA SPEAKERS
Presenters will have the option to opt-in for seating closest to the stage and keynote speakers during the Welcome Ceremony on Day 1 and during the Galactic Gala on Day 3. We recognize that some presenters will opt-out to sit with friends and colleagues in another area of the auditorium.
🚀 PRIORITY TOUR SELECTION
Our team recognizes that presenters are often racing to select their desired tour and must also work within the confines of their presentation schedule. Because of this, presenters will be given first priority for tour selection. This almost guarantees that you, as a presenter, will secure a spot on whichever tours you wish to attend.
🚀 DISCOUNTED REGISTRATION RATE
As a presenter, you are a vital part of this conference. Our team is happy to extend a discounted registration rate to presenters, as we have in years past.
