Carla has a heart for space and for children. Recently she has had the joy of introducing middle school learners to the fun and exciting world of coding robotics. She has also supported college-level robotic challenges for Moon missions. Her favorite part is when learners have an “a-ha” moment, when something that wasn’t working suddenly does, after trying a different approach. Over her long NASA career she has developed, coordinated, and taught on many space topics, and values sharing that love of learning with others.
